Model Answer:-

Rates of full time employment of men and women in the UK. For the year 2008, based on the age of the youngest dependent in the family, are given in the double-bar graph. Employment rates of men excelled that of women.

Employment rates of males having dependants in the age categories under 5, 5-10, 11-15 and 16 to 18 had been recorded as almost the same, a bumper 90%. The rate of women had a step by step growth as the age of the youngest dependant increased. It was 59% among women having children under the age of 5. It hiked to 70% in the next age group, 5-11. Although there was an increment of 9% in the group 11-15, there was only a marginal 1% growth in the next one, 16-18. A noticeable decline in the rate of men having no dependent children is found. Only 75% of them were employed. Females shared a more or less equal rate.

In conclusion, while a high rate of men having dependent children under the age of 18 was employed, the rates of women were less, particularly in the case of those having children under the age of 5.

Yes, I think so. Though the computer is seen as a salvation (=lifeline) in many ways, there’s a growing concern about how adversely people are being impacted. People use internet for their various conveniences but some people fire up the steaming debates by using their extreme views and provoke a faction of people on certain issues. The internet offers a variety of free information and resources that can either build or destroy the life of a teenager. As a result, many teens have an access to forbidden websites, such as pornography ones. We support sex education, but not the culture of being a pervert. Excessive usage of internet in the wrong way destroys not only children but also matured people morally and psychologically. The research also suggests that Internet is also widely used by criminals and terrorists in exchanging the sensitive information or learning about the various crime modus operandi (=method, technique).

Yes, I want to learn tap dancing. I wish I was taught this type of dancing during the school time but it didn’t happen. It’s very popular in the world especially when you attend any party with your companion. Those dancing moves and expressions on the face make the tap dancing more mesmerizing.

Yes, I think that there is too much news about celebrities these days. News channels mostly focus on unnecessary news about famous people, to increase their TRP.

Do you think negative information in the news can have negative influence?

Yes, definitely. The negative news on the news channels and the newspapers has a negative influence, as people start feeling that nothing  good is happing around them.
