Which one is most difficult?

IELTS and PTE test  are the two significant test which ensure a candidate is proficient in English language. Numerous countries except these both test as a standard for testing the English proficiency of candidate.

For instance, IELTS is a mandatory test for a Canada PR visa process, and the express entry Canada immigration process needs specific scores. It is also accepted as proof of English proficiency for immigration visas to Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

  • IELTS does not have a time limit per question, and the test taker can come back and correct an answer
  • IELTS questions are generally long and deep
  • IELTS grades a candidate between Extremely Limited to an Expert. The scores for IELTS are between 0.4 and 9

PTE: 

  • Is a computer-delivered test
  • PTE needs the exam taker to speak into a microphone for the computer and experts to evaluate later
  • PTE mixes up reading, writing, listening, and speaking through the exam
  • PTE has time limits per question and does not allow the test taker to go back once an answer is submitted
  • PTE questions are short and simpler
  • PTE also grades a candidate as Extremely Limited to Expert. The scores can be anywhere from 0 to 90.

Whether you appear in the PT or IELTS you need to be very good at English language. Set your timings in order to prepare on daily basis. Get familiar with different types of question and take them into your practice.
