The pie chart shows the annual expenses of two different firms for the year 2005. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting, the main features, and make comparisons wherever relevant.
SAMPLE ANSWER
The pie charts indicate the proportion of different types of annual expenses of firm A and firm B in the year 2005.
It is clearly noted from the pie chart that the production expenses accounted for major proportion which was nearly 30% for Firm A whereas Firm B spent almost 1.5 times more than this. The ratio of advertisement expenses of both the firms indicated an opposite trend. Firm A, it was 5% less for the type of expenses.
Additionally, Firm A’s annual expenses on insurance was at 15% while Firm B’s insurance expenses reduced by approximately half. The share of other expenses was lowest for both the Firms which was 5% and 7% respectively.
Finally, the production expenses accounted for the maximum ratio while advertisement expenses stood at the second place for both the firms.
