The table shows the proportion of fifty-year-old adults who were never married over five decades in Japan. The chart represents the Japanese marriage and divorce rate from 1970 to 2016.Summarise the data by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant
SAMPLE ANSWER
The table illustrates the ratio of mature pupils aged fifty-year- old who were unmarried from 1970 to 2010, over a 40-year period, whereas the line graph depicts the number of marriage and divorce in Japan between 1970 and 2016.
Overall, it is apparent from the table that the percentage of 50-year-old adults who never been married experienced a upward trend throughout the year, however the line graph evident that the number of marriages were more until the final year compared to divorce.
To commerce with the table, at first glance, merely 2% of residents of age 50-year-plf were unmarried in the first year which increases slowly by 2% in 1980. Similarly, it inclined minimally to 7% in 1990. Over the following next 20 years, the proportion I’d elderly masses who never been married grew gradually from 7% in 1990 to 15% in 2010.
Turning to the second chart, 10000000 people had married in 1970 and it dropped considerably to reach 800000 in between 2000 and 2010. Likewise, the number of marriage declined steadily to just over 600000 by the bed of the year. On the other hand, well under 200000 dwellers in Japan were divorced in 1970 which showed a slight rise do approximately 200000 until 1990. But, again it grew slowly to less than 400000 in 20000 and remained relatively unchanged till the last year
