The table given above provides information about the arrival of tourists in 8 countries in the years 2009 and 2010.
From the overall perspective, there has been a trivial increase in the tourism of UK, US, Italy and Spain. Turkey, China, and Germany experienced a high rise in the number of people whereas Hong Kong experienced a setback and France continued with the same count.
Starting with France, 2009 and 10 both experienced 76 million tourists. Next to US, it noticed the increase by 1.5% from 66 to 67 and the similar curve is noticed in Spain from 55 to 56 million tourists. An enormous increase was noticed in UK which increased by 3.6% from 55 to 57 and also overtook Spain. Italy witnessed a relatively slower growth of 2.3% and resulted in 45 million. Turkey also took over Italy by 33% and resulted in 46 million.
China also encountered a rise from 22 to 34 million with a percentage of 55% growth. The highest percentage increase was experienced by Germany of 109% and resulted in 24 million. Hong Kong is the only nation to suffer a setback of 11% and ended at 9 million.
