The chart below shows the number if male and female students studying six arts –related subjects at an Australian university in 2008.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar graph depicts the information about the count of students of both genders in six Arts related subjects at an Australian university. The year under consideration is 2008.
It can be clearly seen from the graph that men who studied English were highest that accounted for a little less than 250. It was followed by history with almost 220 and Economics with 200. Next, the number of students who were enrolled in Geography and political Science was the same that was 150. Lastly, the figures of men in psychology were the least.
Moving towards women, there was only one field where their number was more than the males and that was psychology with almost 110. Their figure was 200 in English which was again highest among all the other subjects, whereas the figures in Economics were slightly less. Lastly, the number of female students who preferred political science, geography and history fell in descending order.
Thus, from the overall analysis, it is clear that male students were more than female students in all the Arts related subjects except psychology.
