One of the favorite spots for wilderness is The Adelaide Hills. It may only be within 30-40 minutes from the city but the region is perfectly suited for moderate level wilderness experiences. Mountain biking, bushwalking & rock climbing are three activities becoming exceedingly popular in the Adelaide Hills and three activities that Wilderness Escape have been providing in the region for over two decades.
Popular bushwalking/ riding expedition locations and tent based experiences include Cudlee Creek, Black Hill and Morialta Conservation Parks, Mt Crawford Forest, Warren and Hale Conservation Parks in the central Mt Lofty Ranges and Kuitpo Forest in the southern end.
Bunkhouse style accommodation is available at Woodhouse Activity Centre with access to our very own high and low ropes courses, 15 meter rock climbing tower and our reputable 320 meter flying fox. Other popular accommodation options for Wilderness Escape programs include Douglas Scrub which is now home to our new and excitingly awesome continuous high ropes course and three sided rock climbing tower. If your organization is looking for some adrenalin pumping team building activities, the Adelaide Hills is the place to be.
