You are a regular member of a club. One day you forgot your bag in the locker of the club. The club now will remain closed for a week for renovation.
Write a letter to the manager of the club. In your letter
– describe the problem
– tell him about the important things in your bag
– ask him to help you recover the bag
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I, Suresh Kumar Verma, am a regular member of your club. My membership number is 254 PT. Last night, as I left the club, I forgot to take my bag out of the locker allotted to me. Now I am told that your club will remain closed for one week because of the renovation work.
I wish to tell that my bag contains important documents, including my driving license, passport, etc. I need my bag urgently. I request you to please help me recover my bag. I have got the key of the locker. Please let me know when I can visit the club. Kindly depute some member of your staff to allow me to enter the club premises, and to unlock my locker to recover the bag.
Please intimate to me what necessary steps you have taken in this mater. I will feel much obliged to you if you resolve my problem at the earliest.
