You want something that you can’t buy in your own country. You decide to ask an English friend to help you. Write a letter to a friend. In your letter

I hope you are well and enjoying being back at university after the holiday.
I wonder if you could do me a favour. Would it be possible to buy some books suitable for a 14 year old boy? My friend (Jasmine) has a son who is not doing particularly well in his English classes at school. His English is actually good, but he’s lost motivation and Jasmine wondered whether it might help if he could be persuaded to do some more reading in the language. As you know, it’s very difficult to get hold of English books here and the ones in the bookshops are rather boring for a teenage boy. As you have two younger brothers, I thought you might have some suggestions about what he would enjoy.
If you could choose a couple of books, Jasmine would be very happy to send money to cover the cost of the books and postage. I hope you don’t mind my asking you to do this, and do let me know if there’s anything I can send you from here to say thank you. (179 words)
