You are going to teach English to your friend’s child. Write a letter to your past English teacher to ask if you can borrow some books from him/her. In your letter
– Tell your teacher about the child.
– Say when and where you will teach the child.
– Explain what books you would like to borrow.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I hope this letter finds you well. It has been quite some time since our paths crossed, and I trust life has treated you kindly. I am writing to seek a small favor, and I believe you are the perfect person to turn to.
My friend’s child, Emily, has recently expressed a keen interest in learning English, and knowing my background in teaching, her parents have asked me to provide some guidance. I am honored to take on this responsibility and am excited about the opportunity to share my love for the English language with the next generation.
Our lessons will take place every Saturday afternoon at the local community center. I have set up a small, informal classroom to make the learning experience enjoyable for Emily. I plan to cover the basics initially and gradually move on to more advanced topics as she progresses.
To enhance the learning process, I am reaching out to you with a request.
