A friend is considering buying a house nearby, but you have decided to leave the area due to a rise in crime. Write a letter to your friend advising them not to move into the neighbourhood. In your letter:
– Recommend that your friend not go ahead with the purchase
– Give the reasons behind your decision to leave
– Suggest possible alternative areas that you know
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear zbc,
I hope you are in radiant health and the best of spirits. I am writing to advise you against moving into my locality because of its high crime rate.
I want you to immediately rethink your plan of purchasing a house in Deep Nagar as there are several crimes regularly taking place in this area. I have made a plan to leave this area owing to safety concerns of my family. Recently, my neighbour was attacked in the daylight and his mobile and purse were snatched. After this incident I made up my mind to leave this place as soon as possible.
There are certain areas which are certainly safer than this place such as Rani ka Bagh, Model Town and so on. We can survey these areas and then choose the best area with high safety standards.
I hope you will change your plan immediately.
