SAMPLE ANSWER: –

Dear Sir/ Madam,

My name is Anna Westin. I am a regular customer in your shop and I recently bought a pair of shoes from you.

I am sorry to say that after only a few days of wearing them, the soles on both shoes of the pair have come loose. The shoes were quite expensive and It`s very disappointing that they should have such poor quality of craftsmanship.

I bought the shoes Saturday 14 march at 14.50. The shoes are a black pair of high heels, they cost 400 dollars and I paid for them with my credit card. I was served by the shop assistant, Maria who was very helpful throughout the whole process. I have the purchase receipt and I enclose a photocopy of it. I can bring the original into the shop if you require to see it.

There are a number of things that you can do to resolve this problem. I really like the shoes and I would be prepared to accept a replacement pair. Alternatively, you can refund the 400 dollars back to my credit card or give my cash. What I do `t think is acceptable is a repair. I bought the shoes brand new and I would rather not keep the same pair, knowing that they were so faulty. I hope you feel this is reasonable

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Anna Westin
