Write a letter to your friend who is working in a multinational company.
– Tell him/her that there is a job vacancy in their company.
– Say how you found out about the job.
– Ask for help with your job application.
– Explain why you are interested in this job.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Guneshla,
Hope this letter finds you in radiant health and the best of spirits. I’m writing to ask if you know anything about a job that is being advertised in your company. I saw it on a website the other day. It says they are looking for a Systems Engineer, and I want to apply for the position. I think I have the necessary qualifications and experience.
Could you find out a little more about the position for me please, what they are looking for and maybe the exact type of skills they need. It would be great if you could push my resume forward and help me get the job.
I think it could be a good move for me because I’ve been in my present job for almost three years now, and I need a change and to expand my experience. There would probably be more opportunities for additional training in such a company because it’s an international company and much bigger than where I’m working at the moment.
