You have lost something at the airport and a staff member helped you to find your belonging. Write a letter to the airport authority and tell them about that person, including:
– What did you lose
– How did that person help you
– Suggest the way of appreciation for that person.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
My name is Huyi and my family and I have just returned from a two week vacation to Goa. I am writing this letter to apprise you with a problem we faced at the airport and how one of your employees Mr Jaye helped us.
We were very concerned about our stay because as we landed on Goa Airport my son, Alex, fell from the escalator as a result of which we were all very upset. After some time as we were going to the carousal to collect our baggage, my wife realized that her hand bag was missing. There were our passports and other important documents in that purse. We searched everywhere but couldn’t find it. Then we met Mr. Jaye, who helped us search our purse which someone had deposited in the ‘Lost and Found’ department. We heaved a sigh of relief when we saw the purse.
Mr Jaye also personally took care of my son who had suffered minor injuries because of the fall. What he has done for me cannot be compensated in any way but it would give me immense pleasure if he accepts this cheque of Rs.5000/- which I am attaching with this letter as a token of my thanks.
