You saw an advert for the post of finance manager at the vacancy board. You want to apply for the same job. But, you have been late for applying for the same. Write a letter along with your resume to your prospective employer.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I write to apply for the post of Finance Manager advertised on 9 June 2015 on the Newcomers’ Association of Ontario vacancy database. I have worked for the past eight years as an assistant finance manager with Staples Inc. Now, I believe that it is the right for me to apply for a better position since I have gained skills and experience.
My current salary is $ 65,000.00. As you can see from my enclosed resume, I am an assistant finance manager, and I believe that I have a right attitude and experience to align with the philosophy of your company.
I am late in submitting my resume because I was out of sorts for two days or so. I realize that the closing date for applications was last Thursday, but I hope you will still consider my application. I will be available at any time during next week for the interview.
