Dear Ms. H,
I live at 11 Bernadine, Halls of Residence. I am an international student of Executive Master of Business Administration at our school. I want to draw your attention to the theft that took place this week.
Under contractual agreement, the maid cleans the room every day. Two days back, I found that one jump stick, two novels and some hard cash around $300 were missing from my room. First, I felt that I might have misplaced this stuff but after a thorough search, I concluded that they were missing. I reported this incident to the Housekeeping Department one week back. Despite several reminders, it seems that my complaint fell on deaf ears. Ergo, it made me write this letter to you.
I request you to have this matter investigated at the earliest. I would appreciate if you could help me locate my stuff or I will have no choice but to dishonor our agreement and leave this apartment.
