Dear Commissioner,
I am writing this letter to draw your immediate attention about negligence over the dead animal collection. I live at 26 Queen’s Street Downtown, Charlottetown CA4 HJ9 PE.
Yesterday evening, we saw a dead body of the cat in front of our gate. At once, I called on helpline number of the Department of Dead Animal Collection. They assured me that it would be removed in no time. The city’s standard response time to such calamities is 8 minutes. In this incident, your department did not meet the guideline, and they arrived at the spot after 22 minutes, late by 14 minutes.
It is a sheer negligence. The carcass stunk offensively last evening. Such a carcass could spread disease if it had stayed at the spot longer, and health of residents was in jeopardy. This was an intolerable cruelty. Please explain to me why I should not report this incident to the media and file a suit against your department. I look forward to hearing your response before I take any action on this negligence.
At the same time, I want you to initiate a departmental inquiry on this matter.
