You run a store that sells expensive crystal figurines. One of your customers visited your store and broke the expensive crystal figurine. Write a letter asking him to pay the damage.

SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Patron,
I am writing this letter about the scuffle you got into on the broken artifact occurred at our store yesterday. My colleague, Jennifer Lopez, updated me of the incident fully. We discussed this matter with our management, and it has been decided that you would have to pay $600 against the broken Swarovski Crystal Figurine (Design Item: U12569820).
Our store policy is crystal clear that if any figurine is broken by the patron while browsing, it calls for a full compensation of loss. To corroborate our policy, we have affixed the display instruction underneath many displays saying,” If you break it, you bought it.” On your request, the meeting was held whether or not we could waive the price of figurine. The unanimous decision is negative. Ergo, it would not be possible to approve of your request because no client would buy a broken artifact.
Thus, I request you to make the payment as discussed with Jennifer. We expect a full payment of the said amount within a week, i.e. 25 July 2015.
