SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Manager,
I write to complain about the minor accident that took place at your place last weekend. I believe that this accident could have been averted if adequate safety measures had been in place.
After picking up dairy products, I moved my shopping cart to the other section. While I was going closer to the ‘Meat Section’, suddenly and without warning, I slipped and fell on the ground, hurting my back severely. There were large puddles of water all over the floor, and there was no ‘wet floor sign’ informing customers of any slippery condition on the floor. It is a clear case of negligence because that section should have been closed until the floor was mopped and dried. To my disappointment, this basic safety regulation was flouted.
I am quite disappointed to the fact that how come a slippery floor is left unattended or without putting the ‘wet floor sign’. Any area that could potentially injure shoppers cannot be left unattended. Therefore, I have decided not to visit your store until I am satisfied that there would be no such negligence in future.
