You came to know that, the Heritage Centre is welcoming nominations for a ‘Best village Award’. Nominate your village. Write a letter to Heritage Centre. In your letter:
– Nominate your village and refer to its location
– Explain what is special about your village
– Say how winning an award would change your village

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Pradeep. I am residing in Perinad . I am writing this letter to you as I had watched an advert welcoming nominations for a ‘Best village Award’. I would like to nominate my vil- lage for the above said.
It is my pleasure to inform you that Perinad village is well-known for its aesthetic beauty and breath-taking views. It is located in the southern part of Kerala. There are many tourist destinations here. The beach is the cynosure of Perinad. There are also many cafes nearby the beach which are paragon of tastes. There is a picturesque village, which is soothening to the eyes.
Moreover, there are many backwaters and places of historical importance which reveal the rich heritage and culture. Nowadays there are many resorts and houseboats available which include all the luxurious amenities and people can stay in it with tranquility. Furthermore, the inhabitants here play a vital role in maintaining the place devoid of garbage and pollution. The governing authorities have also imposed stringent laws for the protection of environment.
I am sure that if my village achieve an award from Heritage Centre, it will acquire fame and this will lead to the progress of the society. The local authority also will become more Conscious and the amalgamation of people along with the ruling body can make conspicuous changes in the outlook of the village.
I will be much obliged if my village wins this award.
