A friend has offered you some work in his company. You are currently employed and not able to start for 3 months. Write a reply to your friend. In your letter:
– give details of what you know about his company.
– explain your current situation.
– Give your answer to the offer and explain why
SAMPLE ANSWER
Hi Ahmed,
Hope you’re doing well. I got your letter yesterday and wanted to thank you for the opportunity you’re company has offered me with your efforts.
You’ve told me earlier about your organization which is a multinational and has been operating in more than 40 countries. Joining such a prestigious company is a dream for many. I was over the moon after knowing about the Accounting manager position which your corporation has offered me.
The same day I received your letter, I resigned from my current position but my manager has informed me that they’ve planned to give me two key projects which are crucial for them. Another reason is that our two staff who were on vocations stuck in their country due to flight restrictions. I’ve considered my manager’s request to stay for more than three months.
I know that you can understand my situation and convince your employer that I’ll be joining their organization after three months. I’ll complete my current assignments which will boost my experience and will be beneficial for my future.
