Write a semi-formal letter to a person and invite her/ him to a celebratory event. Write three paragraphs that focus on
– Venue, date and time
– Atmosphere of celebratory
– Response to the invitation
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear John,
I am writing to you to let you know that we will celebrate our first wedding anniversary at 7.00 pm August, 20 at our new bungalow. As an intimate and dearest friend of ours, we are eagerly waiting for you as a guest to be present on this very special occasion for us.
We are hoping that about 60 persons that we consider as our friend will be able to attend the event. And you would be glad to know that some of them are our college friend that you would think as reunion of friends. However, the food items will be in the menu that you crave for. In addition to this, a renowned local band will perform famous for their sweet love songs. We think this will create an especial ambiance of the evening and hope you will enjoy so much.
It would be great pleasure for us if you will present on the occasion. Give my love to your children. See you soon!
