Dear sir or madam
I’m writing to thank you for showing last night’s programme about drinking and driving. I work for a local charity that help those who have alcohol problems and programmes like this are very important as far as our charity are concerned.
It was very well produced and showed the results of driving your car while under the influence of alcohol, how accidents happen and why it is so risky. Introducing families who have lost members of their family, illustrated the unhappiness it can cause. The Interesting part was explained by a doctor who described in detail the effects of alcohol on the brain and how it completely changes personality. It also dealt with alcoholics who have lost their job because of their addiction to alcohol.
Furthermore, it explained that there are groups who can help and how to get in touch with us. Hopefully this will have an effect on them so that victims visit our group discussion sessions.
