Write a letter to your colleague asking for help in setting up an equipment for your presentation.
In your letter, you should:
• tell when and where the presentation will deliver
• describe your arrangements
• say him/her what equipment you need.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Hey Tasmina,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am sorry for such short notice, but could not think of anyone else apart from you. I really need your assistance in arranging a pointer for my presentation this week.
It is an international record meeting, and many of the company’s investors and clients would be attending. I am extremely nervous about it, as there are high expectations from me, and also the reputation of the company is on the line. The company has booked an auditorium at the Trump Tower, Lower Parel and is on Saturday, the 23rd of March 2020.
I have been working around the clock. I have finished my project, although I have to still practise. I’ll be the first one to present so there is a lot on my shoulder at the moment.
I have kept everything ready, and the only thing missing is a pointer. Since there would be a certain distance from the projector, that is why I’ll be needing the equipment. It will make it incredibly subtle and would be more convenient.
I hope you understand and could make the necessary arrangements soon.
