You are having a party and want to invite your friend from a different city.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• Describe why you are having the part
• Give directions on how to get to the venue
• Suggest how you can accommodate him/her
Sample answer
Dear Chris,
I am glad to invite you to a party I am going to arrange for my 2nd baby’s birth. I know it would take you more than 20 hours to reach my city by train, so I am asking you about one week in advance.
on the 1st of April is my 2nd child 3rd birthday. My whole family planned this time to celebrate in a hotel rather than at home. We decided to invite our all close friends and relatives.
The event is going to take place in the Star Capital hotel. It is about 10 kilometres from the train station. You can hire a car and ask to go National Bank. The hotel is exactly opposite the Bank. Ask the driver to drive you by the new link road, which not only will take you to the destination faster, but also you can enjoy the newly opened half-kilometre shopping mall.
As I arranged your room in my house. we will directly go there and you can have rested there. please avoid any hotel booking. I insist you stay with me for a minimum of three days, so kindly arrange to take those days off from the office before you move.
