You experienced an incident on public transport that caused you distress. Write a letter to the manager of the public transport company. In your letter

SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to notify you of an upsetting incident I experienced on the Tafford train line last week and to suggest ways to prevent similar ones in future.
As I always do after my shift on Friday night, I was taking the 9:15 train from Central to Tafford. Usually, the train is crowded, but last week, I was alone in the carriage. At the third station from Central, a man got on the train and approached me, demanded my wallet and phone, which I handed over, and got off at the next stop.

Obviously, I was terrified, and without my phone, I had no way to call for help. The emergency button on the carriage was out of order, so I was unable to notify the driver, which added to my distress. Since the robbery, I have been too afraid to return to work as I have to rely on public transport to commute.
I have filed a police report, and I would also ask that you take steps to ensure such an attack does not happen again. While installing cameras in every carriage would be one option, I feel that having public transport or police officer on every train after dark would be even better. I would also strongly suggest that all emergency buttons are tested across the network, as this defect added to my trauma that night.
Please look into these matters as a matter of urgency.
