You and your neighbours have noticed that the rubbish collection services where you live have recently been quite bad.
Write a letter to your local council. In your letter,
– explain what you have recently experienced
– explain what the neighbours have recently experienced
– ask what action will be taken to improve the service
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter in order to raise my concern against the rather appalling garbage collection services that I and my neighbours are currently facing around the Indiranagar locality.
Let me explain in more detail. Recently, I am noticing that the person who is responsible for the service is not visiting the area punctually at ,8 AM. Hence, it is becoming extremely challenging to dispose of the household waste, as at 11 AM I am mostly at my office. Therefore, to mitigate the problem I started keeping my garbage bag outside my home before leaving ,however, the person denied collecting it like that.
Furthermore, when I checked with my neighbours, I figured out that they are facing similar sorts of challenges. In addition to that, he is also denying to clean the roadside waste and when people are requesting him to do so, he is replying back rudely . Henceforth, all the residents are worried about this.
