You are planning to celebrate your wedding anniversary. Write a letter to a hotelier in your town.
In your letter, you should say:
– When you are planning the event?
– What the requirements are?
– Ask the availability and the estimate.
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to book a hall at your hotel ‘The Jen Lee’, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on the 31st .of this month.
Since the time I decided to mark this occasion in our memory forever, I started thinking of the best place to make it an auspicious one. For the past decade, your hotel is the best in the town, and hence I would like to book one of the small halls from 6 pm to 11 pm on the aforementioned date.
I would request the service of your event management team to arrange facilities for the guests, who are exclusively my relatives. I assume that 20 tables and 100 chairs are the minimum order. I would also like you to arrange the food and beverages for around 120 people.
It would be highly appreciable if you could intimate me the availability of the hall as well as the service at least a week prior to the date. An advanced information about the expenses is also anticipated along with this.
