SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Mr White,
With immense grief, I am writing this letter to inform you that I will not continue working in our esteemed organization. I hope you would surely help me with my smooth exit.
Let me tell you the reason behind this decision to get a fair bit of understanding about the situation. As you already know that, my father is not doing good with his health for the last six months. Besides this, my brother is mentally retired, due to which my mother is undergoing a lot of mental trauma. Being an elder son in the family, it is my prime responsibility to give them mental support. Therefore, I would be leaving the next Sunday.
All in all, I have grown in this organization as a person. Serving the underprivileged people has taught me a few unforgettable lessons about life and humanity. I am sure that it would help me grow as an individual, but it will also boost my professional skills immensely.
Needless to say, we will be in touch. Though I have initiated the clearance process as per the policy, let me know if I need to submit any specific documents before leaving. I look forward to hearing from you.
