PART – 1 INTRO PART

What kinds of social networking websites do you like to use?
It’s undeniable that social networking sites have become a huge part in our lives, especially young people’s lives. I think am addicted to Facebook and Twitter.
Are you a social person?
I suppose I am an out-going sort of person. I have many friends on Facebook and get along well with other people.
What kinds of people do you like to make friends with on those websites?
I love to make friends with people who have same interests as me such as music, travelling and learning English.
Is it good to find real friends on social network?
I think no, most of the friends I have on Facebook are just normal friends, it is common that people just make friends for fun and sometimes will not even meet face to face. But we do tend to share things a lot on social websites.
Do you mind noises?
It’s really hard for me to say no. I mean, I really can’t bear noisy people, noisy places or even noisy things. For me noise is the number-one distractor when it comes to studying or working. You know, they actually just go ahead and interrupt my flow of thoughts.
What types of noise you come across in your daily life?
Well, I have to say that I face up to a rich variety of noises on a daily basis. The first type of noise is from traffic, especially during the rush hours. The second is noise from factories, construction sites which never fail to distract me from working, thereby reducing my productivity.

Describe a lesson you learn from a celebrity.

Well, the celebrity that I admire the most is Ellen Degeneres. To me, she is not a mere comedian but a monument of courage to be her true self.
As you know, she is famous for proudly and publicly announcing herself being lesbian although there has been certain prejudice. (Example) She is also an active LGBT activist who has fought for LGBT’s rights and inspires people to live with their true selves without being afraid of the society’s thought on them. She is talented and has a great sense of humor and she has been the host of one of the most viewed shows in the world for over ten years, “The Ellen Degeneres Show”.
Besides, Ellen is a very kind, helpful woman because she raises fund from sponsors on a regular basis to help her impoverished audience. (Example) Another interesting fact about her is that her way of hosting is so alluring that I cannot keep my eyes off the screen during the show. At the end of each episode, she always carries the message “Be kind to one another”, which is a type of motivation for people to get on well with those around them. In other words, she is the role model for my life and I wish I could see her once in my lifetime.

How can a celebrity negatively affect the brand image that they advertise for?
In fact, celebrities can have a negative effect on the brands that they endorse through their scandals. As a matter of fact, the public will suppose that they are not qualified enough to be a public image. Consequently, brands will suffer a great loss and sales will drop dramatically. However, the most important thing is that the brand will decrease in popularity with the general public.
Do you think we should protect famous people’s privacy?
Indeed. As you probably can tell, these days fans, anti-fans and even non-fans are so curious about what their bias is doing. Some are aggressive that they mentally attack their bias by leaving bad comments online. Some even approach them in person on the street, especially the so-called paparazzi. Thus I strongly agree that there should be some regulations to protect the celebrities’ privacy.
