PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your name?
My name is Botter Yanu.

How often do you buy shoes?
I am not a big fan of shoes so I only buy them when they are worn out. It’s been around 1 year ever since the last time I bought a pair of shoes.
Have you ever bought shoes online?
No I haven’t ever done that simply because I have a very negative view of online shopping. I hate receiving a product that isn’t as good as advertised on those websites. I prefer going to the store and check the quality before making a purchase.
Do you prefer comfortable shoes or good-looking shoes?
I prefer shoes that are more comfy and convenient. Because I have to go out very frequently to see customers or friends, I need comfortable shoes that are soft and light in order not to feel hurt after a long day.
Do you like to look at the sky at night?
Well just occasionally. I mean the sky is beautiful as long as it isn’t rainy or too sunny. Yet, we are told not to gaze directly at the sun as it may cause great harm to our eyesight.
Do you prefer the sky in the morning or the sky at night?
At night, definitely; while the daytime sky is rather boring, the starry night sky, especially that in the countryside, is so amazing that I was entranced by the first time I saw it many years ago. That wasn’t like anything you can find in cites nowadays.

PART – 2 CUE CARD
Describe a time when you worked in a team
You should say:
• what the activity was
• who you worked with you
• how easy or difficult it was
And explain how you felt about being part of this team.
SAMPLE ANSWER
I’d like to talk about a team project that I was involved in during my “British and American culture” class at the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi. There were six of us on the team, and our task was to identify the differences in the travelling habits of British and American tourists. Our objective was to produce a report and give a presentation.
So the first thing we did was split into two groups of three. We had to conduct a survey, so three of us spent some time designing a questionnaire while the other three prepared an outline for the report. One of the difficulties we encountered was finding enough people for the survey because we needed 50 British and 50 Americans.
But thanks to Facebook, we were able to reach enough people from those countries who were willing to help us out and fill in the online survey. In the end, I think it was a successful project because we were able to figure out the main travelling patterns of people from the US and the UK. Our group presentation also went really well.
It was really a memorable experience for all of us and I felt a real sense of accomplishment when we handed in our report and delivered our presentation. But what I was most proud of was how well our team worked together. There were still some minor tiffs between some of the team members, but overall I think each member showed a good level of responsibility and teamwork.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
What are the reasons for the failure of teamwork?
Teamwork fails if there is no coordination between the team members. Teamwork also fails if the team leader is not very competent.
Do children need to know more about teamwork?
Yes, children should know a lot about teamwork, because they have to work in teams at all stages of their life.
