What can make children laugh?

I think children can laugh at anything. There are many things that children find amusing that adults don’t. They laugh when playing with their friends, when watching TV shows, when someone makes funny faces, when they see others laughing and many other such things.

What do you think is the best age for people to have children?

I think it is a personal decision. These days people decide to have children when they are both mentally and financially prepared. Besides these factors people should consider the biological factors too, as having a child at a later age has a higher probability of developing complications for the mother and the child.

Do you think people should be trained before they become parents?

Although parenting comes naturally, getting some training before becoming parents would definitely help, especially the first time parents. Parenting is not only about feeding and caring for the child. There are many other aspects of parenting and bringing up a child which can be taught before people bring a child into the world. That would also prepare them mentally and emotionally.

Do you think childhood is the most important phase in one’s development?

Yes, childhood is the most valuable phase in one’s development because that is when children develop their immunity, their bones and other such aspects of physical health. If this growth is proper then they grow up to be healthy adults. This is also the age when children learn moral and social values and learn manners and etiquettes, which stay with them lifelong.

SAMPLE ANSWER

Well, my country has been through several historical events under various rulers and governments. This has led to the long and highly fascinating history of my country to be written for everyone to know and benefit from. I am fond of reading history in general, however, the most fascinating period to me is from the year 1940 to 1947. It was the last phase of the Indian independence movement while still under British rule. With this said, the British rule in India lasted for nearly two hundred years. It was in 1947 on the fifteenth of August that India had finally gained its freedom from the oppressive and tyrannical British rule.

I am fascinated in gaining knowledge about all the proceedings that took place in this period, as it’s something I am most curious about. I first came across information about this era in my eighth-grade history book. Since then, I have spoken to my grandparents at length on this topic. They have shared stories of freedom fighters standing up against the British army for their rights, apart from many of their own personal accounts during that time. Furthermore, I have also read many books and watched various movies and documentaries on this subject to expand my knowledge even more.

All in all, this era is full of various occurrences on a mass scale and involves sacrifices of innumerable freedom fighters who gave away everything they had in order to fight the British rule. During this time, our country was divided into two separate nations, in which a new country named Pakistan made its debut. In conclusion, it is indeed one of the most essential periods in shaping my country’s history.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS

Are young people in your country interested in historical museums?

I don’t think so. Young people prefer to go the modern museums to appreciate the modern arts. But it also depends. Some people who are interested in history may go the historical museums frequently.

Will museums be replaced by technology someday?

Maybe. If the museums be replaced by technology, people can appreciate the precise culture relic at home with the audio introduction and 3D models, which is also a good way for people to know about history.

How can more people become interested in history?

The government can make some historical public advertising and TV programme to arouse people’s interests in history. History museums can be free for the public; therefore, people have the access to get to know about the history.
