I prefer an ethnic traditional Indian decoration. I love colours and like colourful paintings, pictures, flowers, and plants. I also like cozy and inviting spaces with decorations like cushions and area rugs.

Do Indian people like decorating their homes?

Yes, Indian people are very creative and love decorating their homes. Some prefer the traditional style and decorate their homes with ethnic, traditional textiles and embroidered tapestry whereas some prefer more modern decor.

What’s your favourite colour when decorating your home?

When decorating my home, my favourite colour is the colour of the sun – yellow as it symbolizes happiness, warmth, energy, and positivity. It brightens everything up and looks amazing. In fact, I have painted one wall in my bedroom room yellow.

Sample Answer

Kids are extremely pleasant at times and are one of the best stress-busters in one’s life. However, at times, kids can become highly turbulent and tempestuous and can give you a wish with their nuisance and vociferous attitude.

One such experience when I saw some young kids having extremely abhorrent behaviour toward others was when I was travelling to another city through a coach and what I saw was not pleasant to the eyes.

So, while travelling to a city where I work from my hometown, I boarded a coach and there were three beautiful kids. But, my perception got upside down when I saw the kids remitting their true colours. There were barely 20 minutes past our journey when I saw them throwing the food and snacks here and there and jumping on the berths of the coach.

Moreover, they were shrieking at the top of their voices and took the whole coach by the storm.People were very queasy and uncomfortable about the whole chaos they created and it didn’t go down with anyone in the coach.

An old couple was clearly seen getting unnerved at the clamour caused by the students and I felt so bad about it. We all tried to stop them at our best. However, they didn’t pay any heed to it.

I honestly felt so ghastly about all of this and thought how important it is to impart a good upbringing to children as they are the ones who would turn out to be adults.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS

What bad behaviour do children usually have?

Normally, the bad behavior I associate with children is creating noise, breaking things, disrespecting elders, scribbling on the walls and stealing small things like pencils, erasers. I think I am guilty of each one of them when I was young.

2. How should parents stop their children from behaving badly at public?

I think parents should stop their children from doing bad things at home. There should be no double standards. Moreover, I think parents should not just stop children from doing something bad but also tell them why it is bad to do it.

3. Are parents these days stricter than in the past?

On the contrary, I think parents are more lenient these days. I think it is mainly due to two reasons, first being the strict laws against physical punishment and the second reason is the influence of western culture.

4. Whose influence on children is more? Parents or their Friends?

I think in the early years, the parents influence is second to none as children spend the majority of their time with the children. But as children grow older, they spend considerably more time with their friends, and I think during these years, it is their friends that influence their behavior and thinking the most.
