SAMPLE ANSWER

It is important to relax for some time to regain energy, to reduce stress and tiredness. Everybody needs relax and they have different ways to do so. There are some places where people can relax such as parks, religious places, sports centres or recreation centres. While Young people like to go to gyms or stadiums for relaxing, elderly people prefer parks and religious places.

When I want to relax, I go to a recreation place which is in my neighborhood. This is actually a community place in the centre of our residential area. It is an open space covering large area.

A number of trees and plants keep this place fresh, cool and pollution free. Many elders sit there on the benches under the shade of trees. There are some fruit trees also.

It also houses a small gym where sports-kits are kept and one can have work-out there. In one corner, there is an area for kids where they can run or play football. There is also a track for walking. I take 10 rounds every evening on that track and that gives me a good exercise. Recently, a big hall is built there which houses a swimming pool.

The best thing in this recreation centre is that this place is good for community gathering. People from around meet there, they gossip and feel connected. Every evening, this place becomes so lively. I go there almost daily. After walking for 30 minutes, I relax on a bench under tree. My friends from neighborhood also join me there. Then we gossip for some time and watch over the people doing different activities.

This pace is like a blessing to the locals. This place is important for the whole community. I am happy when I am at this place. Moreover, I get opportunity to socialize with my friends and other people from neighborhood.

So this is the place where I like to relax.

PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS

Do we need big parks or small parks in the city?

Personally, small parks in the city are much convenient than big parks. Firstly, it would serve better quality for citizens in an area. Parks are places for people to not only get exercise, but wind down and relax. It would also create a friendly environment for everyone. Second, a big park takes up too much available space in the city.

Why is it important to have parks in a city?

Parts play an important role in a city. The foremost reason is that parks contribute to reduction of the urban heat effect. Another reason is Parks provide space for neighborhood residents to interact with each other and meet new people. They’re also great spaces for events and for people to engage in recreational activities. This allows people to develop a sense of community. A park is perfect for a picnic, a concert, or a farmer’s market – whatever your community feels it needs.
