What is your full name?

My name is Dunika Dhokila.

How may I address you?

You may address me as Dunika.

May I see your ID?

Sure, here you go.

Did you save money when you were young?

I always used to save money when I was younger. I understood it to be a good practice and saved my pocket money, award amounts, or any money that I received as a gift. Those saved amounts of money have helped me a lot during my time of need.

Have you ever given money to other children?

No, I have never given money to any other children, as I spent money only with my parent’s permission, and never digressed from the original spending purpose agreed upon, along with my parents. I have always politely refused any other children who have come to ask me for money.

Do you think parents should teach children to save money?

Yes, I think that parents should teach children to save money. It is a very good practice that not only secures our future but also disciplines us by teaching self-control and introspection. All of us should learn about saving money and enjoy the benefits it brings along.

Do parents give children pocket money in your home?

Yes, parents do give children pocket money in my home. I and all my siblings used to get a certain amount of money every month, which was always lesser than our expectations on purpose. This was done in order to teach us control on expenses, and the practice of saving.

Model Answer:

Introduction:

Well, I have been invited to numerous meetings but in very few have I had the opportunity to present my views as a speaker. I would take this opportunity to talk about one such meeting the very first meeting in which I was a speaker.

When it was? and What type of meeting it was?

I still remember that when I was in 6th grade I participated in this meeting which was organised by the school management. This was something very nice about my school as it used to organise an annual meeting in which the staff that is the school management and the heads of 6th class onwards used to take part.

It was a way to develop communication between the management and students at the same time take their feedback. There were approximately 80 members in this meeting and everyone was presenting and sharing their views. Everyone was listening patiently as well.

And I still remember when it was my time to present the views I was kind of nervous but when I started delivering my views everyone was listening to me with curiosity and it helped me to develop confidence during the Speech I advised the management to introduce sports at school.

The fact is that my school was focused only on academics for this reason most students even at a very young age were not very active as well as healthy. Since sports are the best way to remain active and to improve physical and mental fitness. I recommended having some sports activities at school.

In addition, there are numerous qualities like cooperation, leadership, and discipline which are hard to teach theoretically and sports are the best way to teach all these skills practically. In fact, I gave the example of Sacred heart school which was more focused on sports and many students had shined the name of that school with their performance at the national as well as International level.

The school principal was really impressed with the idea and the way I presented my views. The school management promised that they will surely consider my idea.
