PART – 1 INTRO PART
What is your full name?
My name is Shaveta Rani.

Do you think it’s Important to be on time?
Yeah, I think it definitely is, because it’s basic good manners to be on time for things. You know, I think you’d agree it’s pretty rude to keep people waiting, and so it kind of gives a bad impression about that person.
How do you feel when others are late?
Well I guess it kind of depends, because I mean, if there’s a good reason for being late, you know, like getting stuck in traffic, then I will not really mind that much. But you know, if the person does not really have any excuse and it’s simply because they could not be bothered to arrive on time, then I suppose I might feel a bit annoyed.
Are you, yourself, late very often?
No, I would not say I am. You know, most of the time I’m pretty good with being on time for things, because I always make a quite big effort not to be late.
Are you, yourself, late very often?
Yeah, I am. And I know it’s a bad habit, but for some reason, no matter how hard I try, I always seem to end up being late for things!
How do you feel when you are late?
I feel pretty bad, especially if I’ve kept the other person waiting for a long time. So if I know I’m going to be late, I will always try to let the person know in advance, you know, like send them a text message or something, so at least they know when to expect me.
How do you think you could be on time?
I guess the best thing to do would be to always allow lots of time to get anywhere. So for example, if it normally takes me, say, half an hour to get to the city centre, then I should probably leave home about an hour before I need to get there.
Do you wear a watch?
No I do not, because I do not think it’s really necessary to wear a watch anymore. You know, if I want to know the time, I’ll just look on my mobile!

When does time SEEM to move fast, and when does it SEEM to move slowly?
Well, I think most people would agree that time moves fast when you’re having fun. A prime example would be when playing computer games, because I mean, whenever I play online with my friends, it always seems that only an hour or two has passed, but in actual fact, it’s probably been four or five hours! And time normally goes slowly when you’re bored or simply just not enjoying yourself. For example, I remember at school, some of my classes felt like they would never end, when in fact they were just, like, 45 minutes long!
If you could go back in time, what would you do differently?
That’s a good question. What would I do differently? Um … ok well first of all, if I could go back in time, I would definitely spend more time practicing the piano, because you know, I never really practiced that much when I was younger, and I kind of regret it now, because I’d love to be able to play the piano well

Describe an item that you bought that you were dissatisfied with.

SAMPLE ANSWER
Well, I very much enjoy drinking coffee, unfortunately. I do not always have very hot water. Three months ago I decided to do something about it. I went to the Fu Cheng Men market to buy a water heater. I chose the most convenient one: a little pad on which you place your cup and it is supposed to heat the liquid inside. It was being sold for a very’ reasonable price, and I only had to bargain for a short lime.
I brought it home, but then forgot about it for about one month. One day I wanted to have some hot coffee and remembered the water heater I had bought. So I went and found it and plugged it in. However, when I placed the cup on the pad, it heated the coffee very poorly. In fact, it didn’t even make the coffee warm.
I was very angry, so I threw it away. Now I have to use a stove to boil the water first. I’m sure next time I decide to buy such a product as a water heater. I will look in a more reliable place and probably try to get a trusted brand. I will also have to write a note to remind myself of my purchase so that I can discover problems earlier, and thus have time to exchange it.
PART – 3 FOLLOW UPS
What services should shops provide?
They should have people there who are familiar with the store and its products to help you find what you need. Some shops should provide snack bars in case you get hungry or thirsty while shopping. I also think it would be helpful if stores had a delivery service, so if you were busy, you would not have to do the shopping yourself. Maybe some shops could provide discounts to frequent customers.
Which do you think is more important in a shop, service or the quality of the goods?
The quality of goods, I think the quality is most important because if there are no services, people can take care of themselves. Services are simply a luxury, an extra, and pretty much unnecessary. But if the products are not of good quality, then they will not meet the needs of the customer. This, in the end, may make the customer search for another shop.
What rights do you think consumers have?
Hmm, slightly difficult question, the right of choice maybe, if I go into a supermarket, do I have a choice between food loaded with preservatives and that naturally grown with organic fertilizers and nothing added? No, I do not, and I think the right of choice should be provided to consumers. If I were to be able to choose between products with too high a sugar content and those with natural healthy sugar, I would feel much more satisfied.
