Writing an invitation letter to a friend for your special celebration.
In your letter, you should:
– Invite your friend to attend the celebration
– Discuss the arrangements/plans you have made
– Offer arrangements for travel and accommodation
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Tokio,
Hope you are doing well. It’s been a long time since we last met. Luckily, there is an opportunity now. I am excited to invite you to my father’s sixtieth birthday party that I am going to hold on July 31st.
My parents and I’d be very happy if you could make it without fail. We’ve arranged a special worship on that day at a hill temple in the early morning hours. You know it’s our tradition. After that, a light lunch will be served at my house followed by a grand dinner party. My plan is to give a surprise gift to my father when he cuts the cake. By the way, keep it secret!
I will book a taxi to bring you from the airport to my home. As for the accommodation, I will rent a fully furnished apartment close to my house for guests. You can stay either there or at my home.
