This essay will explore both perspectives before offering a nuanced opinion.
On the one hand, proponents of including international news in the secondary school curriculum argue that it is indispensable for fostering a global perspective. In an era where information transcends borders effortlessly, understanding global events is essential for developing well-rounded individuals. Exposure to international news can broaden students’ horizons, enhance their cultural awareness, and cultivate a sense of empathy towards diverse communities worldwide.
