It is generally seen that music plays a significant role in our life. It affects human beings mentally and physically. How is it helpful in social functions? Give reasons for your answer.

Music is an art that expresses harmony and emotions. It occupies a significant place in human beings’ lives by impacting them in their overall healing and is also played on numerous occasions.
Music certainly has many positive impacts on one’s mind. It soothes mind and stimulates brain by boosting mental sharpness and increasing memory power. It has the ability to change mood and when one listens to music, it releases memory power. It has the ability to change mood and when one listens to music, it releases a feel-good hormone called Dopamine in the body that causes happiness and joy. Moreover, it reduces anxiety and stress which are widely prevalent mental diseases in today’s modern life. It energies and relaxes one’s mind under stressful situations.
Further, while listening to music, one can relax the body and it reduces tiredness and fatigue. It was myriad of health benefits such as reducing the risk of heart diseases, increasing the immune system and to maintain the blood pressure. It even helps the patients in getting faster recovery from many ailments like cardiac disease and surgical outcomes. Even doctors have been playing their favorite music to relieve stress in operation rooms.
The other side is that it is widely useful in social functions for entertainment. People play music on various functions like marriages, parties, festivals and such other occasions. They dance and rejoice to the tune of music. To add to this, it is a medium of connection between people of different cultures and a way of communicating traditional values.
To sum up, it plays an indispensable role in all facets of healing be it physical, mental and even for enjoyment at social events.
