People believe that working in a group occupies an important place for the development of live skills rather than doing individual activities. Do you agree or disagree?
SAMPLE ANSWER
It is generally accepted that group work promotes collaboration and cooperation. However, it plays a pivotal role in learning life skills than doing activities individually according to my perspective and I agree with this statement.
To initiate, group activities involve interaction with the team members and it strengthens bonding among them. Moreover, it promotes sharing of ideas and thoughts which is beneficial for the organization. When team members collaborate with one another, they create new ideas, solve problems and work effectively and efficiently. It takes very less time to accomplish a task or goal with the help of each team member’s distinguished skills and experiences rather than working alone.
Further adding to this, working in a team ensures healthy relationships and competition among the team members. They perform together for the growth of the organization and its well-being. Also, they develop a sense of camaraderie and friendship with their colleagues and this also encourage learning from each other as each member possesses diverse skills. The team members feel connected to a team and they are satisfied at the work place. They feel they are a part of the team and their ideas are valued and accepted.
On the other hand, working alone is not considered programmatic as man is a social animal. Working alone becomes stressful and consumes long time to complete a task. Also, there is no motivation from the peers and no sharing of ideas which makes the work tiring and not intriguing. There is a feeling of isolation and neglect; and it hinders the quality of the work produced.
To put it in a nutshell, working in a group promotes healthy environment and created team spirit whereas working alone is devoid of many benefits.
