In many countries, it is recently been observed that the young people are addicted with drugs and crime due to modern city lives. What are the causes for this issue and the solutions according to you?

In today’s world, drug abuse and crime are both life threating social evils that have crippled lives of young generation. There are many reasons for this cause; and there are certain measures to mitigate this issue.
To start with, the hectic life style has aggravated mental and physical stress in the lives of youngsters. They have to face many challenges relevant to their studies, employment, and even at personal life. Even after lot of struggles that they face in their academics and they do not achieve success at academic or work level, they become nervous. Mostly, it also happens when they are over-burdened and troubled by their lives they resort to crimes as they lose their mental balance.
To add to this, even drug abuse aggravates this concern because of peer pressure. Youngsters when they are affected by the company of their friends, they force other to fall prey to drugs. Even they get pleasure and kind of relaxation by taking drugs. Their addiction is so intense that they are not worried about the remorseful repercussions is normal that children imitate the habits of parents. For example, if parents are chain smokers, it influences the also greatly.
The positive is that taking into consideration the measures where the government should spread awareness about the ill-effects of this deadly habit which kills young generation. The young people should be educated about the harmful effects of this issue in schools and colleges and its impact on mental or physical health of young children. Further, to advertise through media and exhibiting messages of social interest with the help- of celebrities. Can curtail this threat.
To put in a nutshell, to alleviate this social issue, the combined efforts of government and media could bring fruitful results.
