In your country do people wear hats and caps?
Yes, I’ve seen many people wearing hats or caps, especially in my community when I go to church on Sunday morning, I see elderly people wearing hats and the youth wearing stylish caps.
Do you wear caps and hats?
Sometimes, I wear the cap for two reasons. One is when I see the temperature outside is very heated so I try to heat by wearing a cap. Second is sometimes I love wearing different kinds of caps just to look stylish.
Did you wear hats as a child?
Yes, I did. My grandfather was very much fond of wearing stylish and traditional hats. He would take me to church every Sunday morning, and I started following the same culture. He bought me a few hats when I was in school. I’ve treasured them yet and oftentimes I try them as per occasion.

Why do people wear hats and caps?
It’s a personal preference, and a lot depends upon the family culture. For instance, my family has traditionally been using hats and caps so we follow suit. Others might be doing it for beating the heat during the summer time. There is another group of people who want to look stylish and trendy and they might be thinking that wearing hats and caps fulfill their needs.

Sports competitions are one the great sources of joy and enjoyment. Both the participants and the spectators enjoy the competitions and sometimes the events are telecast live on television channels and even some multinational and corporate companies sponsor for the program in exchange for their advertisements.
When I was in college D. M. Actually, I was fond of the sports due to its nature and mostly the dribbling attracted me most. When I watched the sports on television, I started nurturing the dream to be a basketball player like the players on the television. After my admission at the college, I joined the basketball team and suddenly the team was invited to participate an inter-college basketball championship competition. So, accordingly, our team started preparing for the upcoming competition. At first, I was advised to play at the point guard and then was shifted to the centre for my extraordinary height (I am 6’3”).

Basketball is an interesting sport and the players are assigned to hit the basket of the opposition to make scores. So, I was assigned to shoot the basket of the opposition as much time as I could. I also took assistance from the other mates of my college team. But it was not easy for us to make scores. Most of the players of the opposition team were highly skilled too like us. They defended almost every attempt of us in the first half of the game.
But we finally scored 15 points while they were only nine. But they tried their best to win the competition and made some fouls in favour of us. For the fouls, we got three free shots at the basket which ensured our victory. Interestingly, I took the free shots and scored three goals within one and a half minute which inspired my teammates greatly. As a result, we were the champion of the competition.

Each of the participants was awarded a classic basketball medal made with gold and other material while the champion team was awarded a large trophy and that is kept in a caring condition at our college compound. Moreover, the participants were awarded gift vouchers worth $200. I have kept my medal at my home, safely, and even in my current days I check the medal and remember the happy moments I had in my college days.

What are some social events in your country?
Well, India celebrates a lot of social events such as dance shows, Music fests. In addition to, there are many family functions like felicitation ceremonies are also some instances of social events.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of international events?
The international events provide a platform where distinct countries can unite. Along with this, the event can also raise the profile of the country. Talking about its flip side, it cost o huge amount of money which can be used from the betterment of quality of citizens in this inflationary world.
