1. The candidate acknowledges that the test of IELTS is owned jointly by the partners.
2. The candidate acknowledges that he has submitted information which is accurate and true of his knowledge.
3. The candidate understands that the personal records taken by them are only for the test. It includes his/her score data, identification cards, and photographs taken by the exam faculty at the centre. Also, his test results can be disclosed to the other partners for the purpose visa applications to ensure authenticity to the organizations.
They ask for your results to verify your details which are presented to them by your visa agents to avoid cases of malpractice. In case, it is found by the IELTS conducting bodies and their partners that the test report form is altered or is shown with any sort of editing, then they can inform this and share your information with your potential organizations and universities. They present only relevant details further.
4. The candidate acknowledges that his personal information can be used for statistical analysis for the growth of Cambridge assessment English examiners/examinations and also the test centre which administers the test, albeit they assure that this information will not be disclosed for any other reason.
5. In case a student wants his finger scan copy, it will be done but as a Binary large object and request is needed to be made to either ielts@idp.com or ielts@britishcouncil.org. A student must understand it will be done at the cost of some charges.
6. A Candidate knows that if the information submitted by him is incomplete in any way or inaccurate, his application processing will be halted. Also, only filling details, completing the application never guarantees the registration as per the candidate’s requirements. This is exclusively confirmed via email from the exam conducting bodies. Your preferred location and timings completely will be finalized then only.
7. The test taker understands that the photograph is taken by the examination centre to release your test report form. If a student misses his photograph owing to any reason, he will not be issued any result.
8. The candidate acknowledges that it is such a confidential test that to ensure accuracy and integrity of the results, IELTS test partners have the onus to either hold your result temporarily or to cancel your result permanently. It happens if any unreliable detail is found or it is likely that the case involves malpractice.
9. Undoubtedly the candidate gets his result on 13th day of the main exam, but it is not at all mandatory for IELTS organizers to issue the result within this timeframe. If they want to review the test for administrative or academic purposes, it can be done by them. In certain circumstances, you might be needed to re take one or more module’s test.
10. The candidate acknowledges that if he is found involved in any activity that can harm the integrity of test, apart from freezing result, his fees will also be not refunded. Even further you are prohibited to sit for the test again ever.
11. The notification of banning from the test will be sent stating the length or duration of ban. The banned students if would register, will not get results and will end up even losing exam fee.
12. A student understands that if any other person sits to take the test in place of real candidate whose details are registered with us, action will be taken against both of you. These details will be provided to all the partners and authorities to ensure fair judgments.
13. The test taker understands that the work he will produce related to the test will be exclusively the property of IELTS organizers and partners. This is done as per intellectual property rights. In case of suspected malpractice, no results will be out for that student.
14. The candidate knows that the speaking part of the test is recorded. In case, recording is not done, student will be called again to attend that test for monitoring purposes.
15. Also, IELTS speaking test can be conducted via zoom platform and student needs to attend that if his speaking is scheduled online.
16. The test taker understands that for security and quality, a video footage can be recorded which will be kept for 60 days for investigating.
17. If the candidate lodges a complaint and that is not fully resolved, the courts of England will have jurisdiction over any claim. This means the matter can be settled by the judge.
18. The candidate acknowledges that he has read the IELTS information for the candidate’s booklet.
