How to check IELTS Result ?
Preview your results
► You will be able to preview your results online from 12.00 p.m. (noon) onwards, 13 days after the main test day.
You will need the following to preview your results:
– Identification Document Number
– Test date
– Candidate Number (given to you on the test day)
– Date of Birth
► You can also visit the candidate area (britishcouncil.in/ielts) to check your results, 13 days after the test date.
► In exceptional circumstances some results may take longer than thirteen days due to strict quality control procedures, in such cases, an email communication will be sent to you.
Test Report Form (TRF)
► You will only receive one Test Report Form. Keep it safe: replacements cannot be issued.
► Test centres can send copies of your TRF to up to 5 recognising organisations* free of charge, only if this information is provided at the time of registration for your test.
Additional Test Report Form (ATRF)
► Photocopies of your Test Report Form (TRF) will not be accepted by the receiving organisations. If you want us to produce and send additional copies of your Test Report Form, (TRF) to more than five recognising organisations, you will be asked to pay an additional administration fee.
► The application form for the Additional TRF can be downloaded from: britishcouncil.in/ielts
► The application form for the Additional TRF must be sent to the following address: BC Examinations and English Services India Pvt. Ltd.

The following documents must be submitted along with the application for the Additional TRF
• Photocopy of your IELTS test report form (TRF)
• Demand Draft (DD) for the payment towards the administration fees
• Photocopy of the first and last page of your passport
Enquiry On Result (EOR)
► It is unusual for there to be a mistake in the marking. However, if you believe a mistake has occurred you can apply to our Enquiry on Results Service to have your test re-marked. This must be done within six weeks of the test date. You can choose which sections of the test you want to have re-marked.
► The Enquiry on Results Service can take up to ten weeks to complete.
► There is a re-mark fee that will be charged for this service. Please check the website britishcouncil.in/IELTS for the updated fees that will be applicable

Test security
There are numerous security measures in place to support genuine test takers and protect the interests of the organisations who rely on the integrity of IELTS results. Don’t risk your future by cheating in any way.
Please DO NOT
– Trust anyone offering to take your IELTS test for you.
– Trust anyone offering to book IELTS test at a discount.
– Trust anyone offering IELTS results on payment as these promises are false
– Risk your integrity and your future by trying to cheat in any way.
► Your photograph will be taken on the day of your IELTS test; this will appear on your IELTS Test Report Form. Fraud prevention measures are in place to enable IELTS to identify counterfeit Test Report Forms (TRFs).
► Immigration agencies and institutions that accept IELTS scores will cancel your application and exclude you from applying again if false documentation is submitted. Test-takers engaging in malpractice may also be liable to legal action.
► IELTS registrations and results can be permanently cancelled if fraudulent methods are used for registrations and payments.
