Avoid long pauses

Don’t try everything on a single person. If you are talking to some English person don’t thing that you should show everything in your basket like different grammatical structure and words you know. Start with simple words and phrases and short sentences. If you can’t remember any specific word don’t just stand silent to remember it, try other words or phrases to describe what you are trying to say. Your listener will get that word for you and you can laugh about it and keep speaking. If you took a long pause for thinking that word your listener will lose interest in you discussion.
