Dear Honorable Commissioner,
I am writing to inform you of my displeasure over existence of a ready-mixed concrete (RMC) plant nearby my home.
My name is Keira and I live at Finch Avenue E, Scarborough ON. In the vicinity of my residence, I have seen a RMC plant of ‘Building Solutions Inc.’ which has been operated since last month or so. To begin with, as we know such plants are not environmental friendly and cause adverse effects. The main culprit is fly ash that settles on the road. The road gets dirty with a white cover of fly ash, and all the people using this road inhale this hazardous substance. Moreover, water pollution and traffic snarls are by products of this RMC plant. This has threatened our peace of mind, and we are being subjected to all types of pollutions.
It is a clear administrative blinder of City Council by authorizing this industrial plant in the residential vicinity. Considering the gravity of matter, this plant must be shut down with immediate effect.
