If you are thinking about the IELTS exam than it is mandatory for you to start preparation of writing module 6 month before you attended the test date because, let me tell you, writing module is not going to be easy as the way running in your mind.  Therefore, students should be serious for their writing to getting their desires. Today we will have a look on some Preparation Tips for IELTS Writing Section

First and fore mostly, student should pay more attention towards the task – 2 because it worth only about 66% of your total writing marks. You should spend 40 minutes on task-2 and you should utilize this 40 minutes with proper planning.

Firstly, student should spend 5 minutes on planning of topic. You should write the all important points on your question booklet. And you should avoid thinking while writing. Some students do errors in their writing task because they think about ideas when they attempt the answer which is major reason of lacking of task response. Also, sometime students have enough ideas to write about and they are totally confused about what they should write or what they not…

Moving further, as we listen that, practice makes man perfect so it would be essential for every student to do more and more practice of their both tasks.

They should take up writing topics for both the tasks and try to write on them each day. Time yourself – remember you will need to complete both the tasks in one hour.

Moreover, vocabulary also plays a major role in IELTS writing. You should be flexible to use of those words in every form. It has been noticed that multifarious students don’t think out of the box. They just have few words and they just try to fit that words in the every sentence although it is appropriate or not which put huge impact on lexical resources criteria.

So students should use suitable words and specific vocabulary to get high band scores.

Additionally, students should be better use of grammar because it is the base of any language and its plays vital role in writing module. You should avoid using simple sentences structure. You should try to use complex structure. so the test checkers examine some variations in your sentences. You should use various structures such as simple, complex, and compound, active, passive and so on. Also you should use appropriate punctuation when it’s needed.

Apart from this, students should maintain idea and content. Few learners do not choose relevant ideas with topic. It is advice able that understand the demand of question before attempting.

And try to discuss various topics with your friends and do brainstorming activity (group discussion) which will also help you explore more.

And students should read a lot of English. They should read the news paper, listen English movies, web series because they learn variety of words.

Student should keep few things in mind of the day of exam.

1. The IELTS test is too long. There is no break between exams. Make sure you have good sleep and you feel well confident while test. Also you should wear comfortable clothes.

2. You should take at least two pencils and one pen. Make sure that you have your ID and/or passport. (Check exactly what ID is necessary for the IELTS exam).

3. Listen to all instructions carefully which are given before your test start.
