The graph below show the percentage of urban/suburban and rural households in a European country that had internet access between 1999 and 2004.

The bar graph reveals the percentage of households accessing the Internet in the rural and urban area, and rural area in the two years 1999 and 2004. Overall, the percentages of urban and suburban homes having Internet access are greater than these of rural homes.
In 1999, relatively few households in the regions had Internet access. Only 15% of homes in urban and suburban areas had access to the Internet, while this number of rural homes accounted for less than 5%. Internet access in urban and suburban households had doubled to 30%, and the percentage of rural households experienced the slight increase to about 5% in the year 2000.
In both areas, the number of homes tended more to use over the few years. From 2001 and 2002, the access of homes in urban and suburban areas increased by 10 percent, and continued to rise to more or less 50 percent by 2004. From 10% in 2001, this figure of rural households grew to around 15% in 2004, another rise to 35% for this in three years later.
