You saw an advert for a combined guitar and English course in Southampton, England but you have a few queries to ask and you want a discount.
Write a letter to the course director. In your letter,
– explain your interest in the course
– describe your problems
– find out if a discount is possible

Dear Sir or Madam,
I’m writing in response to the advertisement on your website for the combined English and guitar course in Southampton, England.
I have always wanted to learn to play the guitar, so I’m very interested in attending your course, however I don’t want to buy a guitar here and then bring it with me. Is it possible for me to hire a guitar for the course and then give it back at the end? Also, I’m a complete beginner so I just wanted to check that the course is suitable for me because it didn’t say anything about levels on the advert.
The other problem I have is that I will need to leave the course in the second week for four days, to attend a wedding. That means I’ll miss almost a week. Would it be possible for me to get a discount and maybe I could use that towards the hire of the guitar?
