You rent an apartment, and you are quite happy with it, but you want to suggest a renovation. Write a letter about your suggestion. In your letter, you should tell:
– Your appreciation of the current condition
– What is the renovation and why?
– What are the benefits of your suggestion?
SAMPLE ANSWER
Dear Mr White,
As you already know, I just shifted to your flat a week ago. Trust me, and words would not be enough to express my gratitude and happiness; however, I am writing this letter as I want to advise you about some repairing work. I hope you will be considerate and help in the best possible way.
All in all, the flat is spacious and has two ensuite bedrooms, which suffice my requirements. I was overwhelmed when I got to see both sunsets as well as the sunrise from the balcony, where I could unwind a bit on the weekend. As I mentioned, there are a few suggestions from my side, let me give you a brief detail. Firstly, in the kitchen area, few trolleys are broken due to which my wife is facing so much trouble while cooking. Secondly, there is a water leakage in one of the bedrooms that need to be repaired as it has already spoiled one of my bedsheets.
My parents are going to move in with me after 15 days, and it would be great if you could kindly help me with the above-mentioned issues before that. Besides this, water leakage is even spoiling the wooden floor. Therefore, it will be beneficial for you if you initiate the renovation work as soon as possible.
